Hello friends & collaborators! I have some really wonderful news to share with you all.
Taking Part in the Sustainability in Styling Panel
I am honored to have been selected as a panel speaker for a fashion networking event called Monochromatic LA for their September event, Monochromatic BLUE.
"MONOCHROMATIC is a curated space where sustainable brands and creative leaders meet — not just to network, but to ignite ideas, spark collaborations, and accelerate change."
On September 20th, hundreds of creatives in the LA Fashion Industry gathered for an evening of shopping, networking, and bringing about positive CHANGE.
I participated on a panel where we discussed how using secondhand items in styling brings a story to any shoot, how vintage items can last a lifetime if you take care of them correctly, and how the fashion industry at large can be more sustainable-forward.
Thank you so much to Monochromatic LA & Barclay Wright for the amazing opportunity to be interviewed for a panel on Sustainability in Styling, moderated by Shifteh Shahbazian & assisted by Sydney Jasso.
Real quick—let's take a moment of appreciation for the LOCATION of this event! We had a magical time taking over the Jim Henson Studio Lot in Hollywood, California. The venue is also known as the Charlie Chaplin Soundstage! It was perfect, and felt like being a little part of history.
Shoutout to my friends, family & my peers for showing up and supporting! We’re in this together, looking to make the world a better place, one conversation at a time 🫶
To New Beginnings 🥂
Styling will always be a part of my story and a piece of the puzzle that is my career. However, I truly would love to step into more speaking engagements, mentorship opportunities, and storytelling dynamics! I am ready to do something truly meaningful with my time & talents, and cannot wait to see what this next chapter brings.
If you have any roles, podcast guest placements, or speaking engagements with me in mind, please send me your pitch via email at styling@courtneydavila.com.
Thank you very much for sticking around.
xx Court
